As the world advances little by little, the idea of intelligence performing in different forms is becoming more of a topic in everyday life. Throughout this debate many rhetors and experts who argue back and forth about the idea of how efficient the specific idea of artificial intelligence just may be. In this debate specifically, the idea is that artificial intelligence is something that is worth the cost, because it will make education more assessible. The input of such technology into classrooms without proper training for teachers is a major drawback from the production and has become a main concern to those that don’t want to watch classes become more focused on operating the machines, rather than using that time to be learning. Artificial intelligence is evaluated as intelligence that will help schools become more advanced and allow more students to open their minds to different learning styles. With the acceptance of artificial intelligence, students will be able to try new learning styles, teachers will continue to develop more into their career, and education will be a mix of technology and entertainment. When looking into classroom in this modern age, you will see that teachers are using multiple techniques to teach a class of 25 students who each learn in their own specific way. Throughout time, the teaching techniques in classrooms have changed from lecture, to lecture with some writing on a chalkboard, to now lecture, videos, hands-on learning, group projects,
Students have their own best way in effectively learning the lesson. With the diversity of students, the problem is each student has a preferred learning style. It becomes undeniably one of the reasons that make it difficult to achieve the best expected outcome out of teachers’ effort. However, teachers try to incorporate various teaching techniques to make every learning opportunity become productive, meaningful, and relevant for the learners.
There are different styles of teaching, as each pupil will learn in a different style, these include visual learners, auditory learners and kinesthetic learners. These learners all need different ways of helping them to learn. For example a
Students will respond to the lesson in different ways and often there are “teachable moments” that were not included in the original lesson. The effective teacher can incorporate various instructional strategies to fit the moment and the individual student’s needs at that moment.
different layout for the class. After realizing the differences, I asked Mrs. Dillard, "Why is each class layout different?" She replied, " I believe every class is different, and that I, as the teacher, need to conform to their learning style rather than them conform to my teaching style." Once she answered my question, I felt more enlightened about teaching. Always being a student, I have viewed learning from one perspective only, but now I am beginning to see different learning styles and formats from being an education major. In the six classes Mrs. Dillard teaches, she used two tools to teach her students: interactive notebook and PowerPoint.
Due to these learning strategies that I have employed previously, I will be more likely to incorporate these learning strategies in my teaching as these were previously successful for me. However, although these strategies were successful for me, it may not be successful for other students and therefore it could be a hindrance to my development as an effective teacher as I will need to overcome the hurdle to identify the different learning strategy and style of different students and develop my teaching style to suit the needs of the students rather than incorporating my previous learning strategies into my teaching blindly. It will also be important for me to develop a variety of teaching techniques in order to promote interest in students, inclusive and engaging learning environment, and both collaborative and autonomous learning opportunities for
In my two years teaching sixth grade at Riverview middle school I have grown a lot as a teacher. I constantly try new lessons and ideas from other teachers, seminars, and trainings. These new techniques help me get my students best prepared with math, middle school, and life skills. After going to a technology conference I used many types of
I intentionally employ a mix of instructional strategies in the classroom in order to give my students a variety of opportunities in which to engage themselves and each other with new content. Most class periods provide chances for students to work individually, as partners and/or in groups and units include a variety of problem-solving tasks to help students understand how the skills are used. Although the students seem to
During lessons students should be aware of what is expected of them throughout the lesson. To ensure that students are aware of what is expected it can be helpful to have daily objectives on the board and review with the students. When beginning lessons it can be helpful to start the lesson by reviewing and asking questions about key vocabulary and content from previous lessons that can help connect prior knowledge to new material. Students should be encouraged to use notes from different lessons to help answering questions. This type of instructional practice can help promote students to want to participate and feel confident in the answers. The environment in the class can change from the teacher teaching the students to the students participating
Everyday, teachers are faced with the challenge of teaching students new information that is valuable to their future. Teachers are responsible to determine what and how information is taught. How this information is taught to students is pertinent to their success; therefore, teachers must be able to use effective teaching methods in the classroom. Students have diverse learning styles; therefore, teachers need to determine how students learn best and pattern their teaching to accommodate these differences. During elementary school, children learn to read and write, acquire a basic understanding of content areas, and develop dispositions toward
With knowledge gained from previous experience, I knew that the students I would be teaching were comfortable with a variety of learning methods, but work more effectively when a practical or group task is set. I shall therefore tailor my resources to promote this type of learning within my teaching group.
“Those who know, do. Those that understand, teach,” once said by Aristotle (Teaching). Teaching has been an art that requires great skill and enormous understanding. Teaching is no small feat, no easy measure. All teachers must work tirelessly in making sure their students succeed and learn far more than just concepts in the classroom. Teachers inspire and encourage their students to go after what they want to do in life. Through observation, I was able to learn about the best practices that worked well in the classroom setting, helped the students learn best, and showed the benefits of teaching. From observing teachers and learning what approaches work best, I was able to find the best teaching practices that helped the students the

In this assignment, I will discuss what I have been taught and how I have incorporated professional terminology and a variety of teaching tools; to see how I can manage many styles of learning and adapt my teaching to be able to plan, prepare for and provide for the individual learners
The production of technology has come a long way over the past few decades and is changing everything society knows. New advances in technology and artificial intelligence have been implemented all over the world, and it is becoming more and more evident every day. The consequences are becoming apparent, and yet societies continue to focus their attention primarily on new inventions and improvements to various forms of technology. There are common misconceptions when it comes to developing advanced technology and artificial intelligence. The topic is highly controversial as society must decide whether the production of artificial intelligence be accelerated or delayed. Additionally, how much should the government be involved in regulating artificial intelligence production. Society is already beginning to experience detrimental consequences as production continues to advance beyond control. Technology changes us and causes us to act more selfishly and ignore the harms that come with these advances. This idea is relevant not only in society today, but additionally in the works of The Veldt by Ray Bradbury and The Gernsback Continuum by William Gibson. When it comes to the debate on whether to accelerate or delay the production of artificial intelligence, the potential harms considerably outweigh the benefits, making it advised to be precautious and delay to prevent society from becoming corrupted by new advances in technology.
Education is important for people’s lives especially in future work, environment, and studies. Without any education it would not be possible for a human to make a computer or to make any toys. However in the past few years, because of technology, education got more advanced, which made people get smarter easily. According to the journalist, Sarah Kessler, she said, “Technology is helping teachers to expand beyond linear, text-based learning and to engage students who learn best in other ways. Its role in schools has evolved from a contained “computer class” into a versatile learning tool that could change how we demonstrate concepts, assign projects and assess progress”. This statement is really true because I myself have been noticing and I am sure a lot of people had. Technology can help education also by new ways in
