Romeo killed about two people and became a problem because he is a Montague and the love of his life is a Capulet. Romeo also didn’t think most things through before doing them. He wouldn’t think about the consequences or trouble he’d be causing. Romeo shouldn’t have made himself the bad guy in this play. Romeo nor Juliet were making the right decisions. Romeo was just breaking the rules of the Montagues and Capulet being separated. Romeo is to blame when he asks Juliet to marry him so quickly. In Act ll Scene 4 Romeo tells the Friar Lawrence, “ And all combined, save what thou must combine by Holy marriage.” He didn’t know Juliet that good when he met and fell in love with her. He later found out that she is a Capulet but still is determined to marry her. Romeo plans to have a secret marriage with Juliet. Romeo wasn’t thinking things through when he fell in love with Juliet and married her. He didn’t think about the outcome of it so that’s why they had a private marriage.
