* Kudler Fine Foods Frequent Shopper Program
The design team from Team A devised this business proposal as a response to the Service Request: SR-kf-013. This proposal includes the business goals, scope, requirements, feasibility, and information flow involved in the Shopper Rewards Program of Kudler Fine Foods (Kudler Fine Foods, Inc., 2008). Moreover, the budget, timeline, trainings, implementation and support for the said program were also

There are three types of analysis that have been used in determining project feasibility which are operational, technical, and economic. All three are important in determining this. Operationally, this program should integrate into the existing workflow without having to worry about any significant problems to the operations. With the new system it would only require a small amount of user training so therefore computer competency isn’t an issue what so ever and there will be no loss of control by the employees or the management. A good thing about the change would be that it will be a better level of customer interaction which would make a better result in sales. Another plus would be that the addition of this program would have hardly any impact on the capabilities that are already existing. I believe that if they go through all the risks involved in developing the system and they are all identified than no problems should occur in making a successful program. Kudler utilizes a POS server which is good for the database of the program and if they develop it as an enhancement of it than it will be easily integrated with its existing key components. Economic feasibility will be determined by performing a cost and benefit analysis. This will help the project team to determine whether the program will be beneficial or nothing but a money pit to the company.
The purpose is to assess the likelihood of a particular solution option's achieving the benefits outlined in the Business Case. The Feasibility Study will also investigate whether the forecast costs are reasonable, the solution is achievable, the risks are acceptable and/or any likely issues are avoidable.
Evaluating the risks, calculating the probability of success, and factoring in the projected profit from sales will provide a clearer NPV to be compared with other projects in the
Along with the Benefit Measurement Method, Constrained optimization method can also be used which involves mathematical approach. Since this method involves the mathematical approach, several calculations are performed in order to take a decision to accept or reject the project. “Mathematical models, also known as Constrained Optimization Methods, are a category of project selection methods, which is a tool and technique of the Develop Project Charter process” (PMP, 2008). Cost-benefit analysis is one of the methods which fall into this category. All the positives and negatives of the project are taken into consideration and then the negatives are carefully excluded from the benefits. Different results are produced for the different projects. The most worthy and financially rewarding option are selected from these results. When employing this method, there are many things that are to be considered such as the impact of the decision on the development of the organization in the future, the length of time the equipment lasts and whether it is possible to do the cost control during the project.
By Kudler Fine Foods adding the frequent shopper program this can only be enhanced. Their employees have to be trained on all areas of the frequent shopper program. They will need to know this so that they can explain to customers how to use it, how they can sign up for it, and the benefits to the customers for being a part of this program. The employees will also need to let the customers know that their information will be kept safe and confidential from all outsiders. The frequent shopper program will be able to reward the customers that buy higher price items better. This will give Kudler a chance to target these items to be sold more and build better profits.
After reviewing the Kudler Fine Food network, a major network overhaul will need to bring the network up to par with the latest technology. If Kudler Fine Foods is not able to upgrade their systems then they will fall behind the technological curve and will not be able to compete with other companies. Kudler needs to do the upgrade not only to keep up with the advances with network systems but needs to install the proper systems to increase profits. If Kudler does not do constant upgrades then they will be forced to pay a larger amount for the larger upgrades in the future. It is vital to install the proper systems that will have the longevity and the capability for future network expansion without having to spend money on unnecessary upgrades.

Competitive intelligence and analysis is an important part of a business. Kudler Fine Foods has requested a system to launch its new Frequent Shopper Program. This new initiative will track purchase behavior at the individual customer level. Without the ability to rank the projects based off of cash flows solely, we had to use some analytical criteria as a capital budgeting analyst to provide some thorough support and reasoning for how we ranked the four best projects. In this case we are only using quantitative considerations that we deem to be relevant and no other project characteristics are deciding factors in our selection of the best four projects. When coming up with our calculations to rank
There are many benefits can be expected from this project such as it will make over the calculated commercial proficiencies. It will be proved as very important deal by investing in the project. The project can bring more money once it done. The project team is very efficient so they can surely get more benefits.
This analysis is done assuming the benefits accrued in the year 2050. The costs are evaluated from the year 2011 – the proposed time of starting the project, while the benefits are calculated from the year 2020 – the expected time of launching the project. The estimated streams of benefits and costs occurring each year between 2011 and 2050 were discounted to their present value and summarized to calculate the benefit cost ratio.
Customers is an important justification of a company’s success. Considering the interest of customers and portraying a good image to its customers, it had come out with different variety of meals. For example, the KFC offers kid’s meal which gives children free
This analysis will determine whether or not the project is worth pursuing using a net present value (NPV) approach.
