Despite the fact that Nichol hadn’t said something as explicit as she saw David stabbing Gail, the prosecutor read her statement in front of the jury. Matters at David’s trial were worsened due to the emerging of a story involving a situation that occurred at a party back in May. Other teenagers had teased David of being a murder suspect, following which he stabbed a pillow and joked about killing Gail, due to being intoxicated. As a result, the jury members found David guilty of Gail’s rape and murder on January 31st 1970.
Mallard is sitting in her room her sister Josephine is knocking on the door. Josephine begs her sister to open the door thinking she is going to make herself sick. She tells Josephine to go away, while her thoughts are still running about the days ahead of her. “It was only yesterday she had thought with a shudder that life might be long.” ( 548) As she opened the door to the room her sister was standing there and clasped her waist and they both headed to the stairs. Richard who is Mr. Mallard’s friend was standing at the bottom of the stairs. While they are all standing at the stairs the front door opens and Mr. Mallard comes walking in with his grip-sack and umbrella. He was nowhere near the accident and did not even know that there was one. “He was standing there amazed by Josephine’s cry; then at Richards’ quick motion to screen him from the view of his wife". ( 548) He was too late. With Mrs. Mallard’s heart condition and the joys of being free only lasted a short while. When seeing her husband walk through the door, it became too much for her to bare and it killed

The woman was at the grave site reflecting on her marriage when three men brutally assaulted her. The devastated husband said:
In this reading, the narrator talks about the reaction of Mrs. Millard who had heart problems, when she notices of her husband´s death. “Breaking News! During the afternoon of April 23rd, Dr. Phil Johnson was found dead in his office. The murderer is unknown, but luckily for us former detective Stan Walter, a good friend of Phil’s has taken the case into his hands. If you have any thoughts to who the murderer is please report it to the police. Back to you Alex!” The tv turns black and I look over to see who the culprit was and it was my wife Rosalind. “Honey, I know it’s devastating about your loss, but your food is getting cold. Now come eat.” “Ok” I respond, annoyed. At dinner my wife and I talk about the decision of taking the job as the detective for Dr. Phil Johnson’s death since he is my friend. Eventually, she gave in and let me go to my office.

The woman view the interior of objects or situations and seek the evidence for its meaning, whereas men look for the evidence at the surface. In addition, Sheriff Peters, County Attorney George Henderson, and Lewis Hale remained cold hearted and prejudice towards Minnie, while Mrs.Hale and Mrs.Peters accepted Minnie’s crime, felt sympathy and determination for her. No matter if Mrs.Wright is innocent or guilty, both women protect Minnie in any circumstance. From redoing the quilt to covering up the reason of the bird cage to hiding the dead bird, both wives want Minnie to look innocent so she could experience the freedom she missed during the last twenty years. Although, the men were right to question her involvement with the murder and suspect Minnie to be the killer. In fact, their suspicions were correct being the Wright’s are the only two people living in their home, clarifying Minnie the killer. I could get a good understanding of why Mrs.Hale and Mrs.Peters withhold evidence against the jury, but I do not approve of their decision. I feel as if the women shouldn’t have gotten involved. No justice saved Minnie Wright from going to jail; withholding evidence and committing crimes, serves a prison sentence. As stated previously, if I was in Mrs.Hale’s or Mrs.Peters's shoes, I would not destroy any evidence being the damage
Ms. Hollins stated that on this day she left to work and left her daughter with no injuries on her face or body. She reported that she left Machaela next to Mr. Darryl. She reported that she used body billow on both sides to protect her. Ms. Hollins

My stepfather.” Bedhead raised an eyebrow herself. “Yes, your stepfather. That was it.” He turned his attention to the left of him, towards the prosecution’s table. “Would the prosecution please give his opening statement?” A man rose, courting a suit of brown. He looked eager, though quite old. “Yes, your honor. I’d be glad to.” Turning his attention towards the woman and holding up a piece of paper, he began, “The accused, Ms. What’s-her-face, is charged with murder in the first degree of her stepfather Blahblahblah. The weapon, currently being analyzed by our police department, was a silenced miniature uzi. It had a barrel of about five inches sticking out from the gun itself. Within three shots of firing said weapon, Mr. So’n’so was killed immediately. Several bullet holes were found inside the body during our autopsy report.” The man took a small breather; the woman looked at him flatly, blowing a bit of her bright hair out of her eyes. He continued, “Upon further questioning, Ms. What’s-her-face is revealed to have a rather long and abusive history with this man, prompting her motive for murder-” At once, the woman flared and she turned towards the prosecution, “You’re lying! It-it wasn’t like that at all! Why would anyone-” she turned back to the judge, “why would anyone just outright kill their own stepfather?! It doesn’t make any

Hours had passed, Angelica dosed off, while sleeping the Doctor and the police walked up to her and said, “Excuse me Ma'am, Are you related to the deceased?” “Deceased.” said Angelica. The police said, “Maam, Are you related to her?” “No I’m not, I’m just a friend.” “Well, Maam it was brought to our attention that the deceased was brought in by you and other females, Where are the rest of the females who brought her in?” ask the police. “They left.” answered Angelica. “Maam, Come with us, we need to ask you a couple of questions.” said the officer. “I can’t, I have to get home.” said Angelica. “Please, come with us now, if you refused to come with us and answer a couple of questions we’ll be forced to hold you for 24 hours.” Angelica got up and followed the police officer to the
His wife collapsed on the ground with a pool of blood around her head, her husband confused of the events that had just transpired. Confused and in a daze, the man slowly walked out screaming, asking what happened and how he got here. When the man is dragged in for questioning he still has no idea what had just transpired that night. The next day Stevenson is taken into a courtroom, as he looks around there is pure silence, his lawyer stands up and says “My client pleads insanity and mental incompetence.” The judge looks us and quietly laughs and says “Mr.Stevenson you are being sentenced to 50 years with no parole in maximum state prison.” As Mr.Stevenson is being dragged out of the room kicking and screaming of his innocence and swearing on his daughter 's life that he did not kill his wife, but no one believed him.
