I was devastated to hear that only ten students were allowed into ENG 102 for the spring semester, but this is my opportunity to show you that I deserve to be put in ENG 102. I believe I should be one of the ten students to advance into your ENG 102 class because I think I have what it takes. I have ambitions and dreams and if I don’t graduate because of this class they will just burn to ashes in the back of my mind. Hopefully you will be persuaded by the end of this essay, and you will end up putting me in your 102 class.
Since I started ENG 101 my diction has expanded dramatically in such a short period of time and I am very thankful for that! If I am able to make it to your ENG 102 class I would have maintained this sophisticated use of word choice in time for university so I can show off the writing skills you taught me! Besides how are other teachers going to teach me english when you are the best teacher that has ever taught me? I have learned many new writing techniques and styles that will help me for the future and you have established my love for english as I never really liked any of my english classes. It would be very heart breaking to see all this great work you have have led just go to waste.

If I don’t get into this ENG 102 class, my beloved parents will literally bury me alive. I am too young to die and my life basically is in the palm of your hand. Putting me into the 102 class will keep me from dying at a young age. If not, I have planned to run away from home and I will end up homeless. I have achieved way to much to end up homeless and you will enervate my ambitions. Please help me and advance me into ENG 102, I beg of
This semester in ENG 101 I went in with a better perspective and view of what the class would be like versus last semester when I hated that I had to enroll in ENG 100E. I knew that it would be similar to ENG 100E but with more emphasis on writing and actually putting to use everything that we learned last semester. Although my ACT score was the reason that I was in ENG 100E last semester I am really thankful that I had to take that class, because it actually helped me this semester with ENG 101. This semester I was more involved and actually participated versus last year where I rarely opened up to answer any questions in class. I as well feel as if taking 100E has helped me this semester to become a better writer with adding more description to my essays to make the reader actually visualize what they are reading or have read. Even though I still may not be the best writer I am able to see for myself that I am no longer that inexperienced writer who’s blinded by their writing errors. I am able to take advice from others for my writing without being offended my mistakes, and I know that they are just trying to help me in the long run.
Over the course of this semester I learned a lot about myself as a writer. This English 101 class has really allowed me to expand my essay structure and ways of thinking. This was my first college writing course and it has given me much more freedom when writing because in high school I felt limited and like what we were writing was not very important. In high school I would write essays to just to fulfill the required word or page count and to a degree I still feel like this but maybe that is why I am an engineering major but in this course I actually was able to express my ideas and for the first time really test the limits of my writing capabilities. I really enjoyed being able to incorporate my voice more in my essays and I believe
Pushing ahead, I hope that I can achieve my goals to become a nurse. I know that there will be more English classes in my future. I think I will choose to take them in a classroom setting. I also will try to be more diligent in getting my assignments completed correctly the first time and on time. This class has encouraged me to be more proficient at the Blackboard and logging in to read my updates more regularly. I hope that my next English class doesn’t rely on essays so much, just because it is not one of my strengths. English 111 was defiantly a learning experience for

My favorite ENG 102 project was how radioactive elements released into the Atlantic Ocean affected marine life due to the Fukushima nuclear reactors. As much as I struggled with writing and formatting my paper it was very rewarding none the less. Interesting enough I found who I was when I was looking for research articles about the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. It was privy to me that I was fascinated about the bazar techniques used to harness energy through nuclear fusion and fission. When I began my voyage I believed that these technical details about nuclear reactors was not something I was going to enjoy, but necessary for my report. I was wrong. I was fascinated; I completely submerged myself in nuclear chemistry. I read papers
It is the year of 2050; earth’s resources are dwindling. As the population increases, society is panicking as to how they are supposed to survive on earth, being that their pure existence has consumed almost all of the necessities to live on the planet. Now the question is, what do they do now? We have been in search of a habitable planet to live on. Robotic missions will be key to researching, gathering data, and figuring out if life on another planet is a plausible option. Radiation exposure and the weather in space are big concerns as to if the human race will be able to even establish planet that is safe to inhabit. Will the human race survive?
It is recommended to start epilation process with a region where it is less painful. For most women, the lower leg regions are the least painful. For reduced pain, it’s good to stretch the skin with the spare hand to reduce the pain further. As the more sensitive areas are proceeded to, less pain is felt as the pain threshold rises up and the skin tolerates epilation.
One of the best but least recognized fighters of WWI was the S.E.5A. The British plane made by Royal Aircraft Factory was as good or better than the Sopwith camel in some areas. The S.E.5a was one of the fastest planes of World War I with a top speed of 138 miles per hour. But of course it could not accomplish this without its Wolsey Viper or Hispano-Suiza engine putting out 150-200 horsepower to pull it through the sky. Though not quite as maneuverable as the Camel, the S.E.5a was faster and much easier to fly, especially for inexperienced pilots. Also, while the Camel spun easily and was unstable, the S.E.5a was almost exactly opposite, being quite stable but still maintaining maneuverability. The S.E.5's armament was one Vickers machine
I would like to thank you for your kind and encouraging words. Before I started this class, I had one primary concern if I would be able to write at the graduate level. I always keep in mind that English is my second language and that ultimately keeps me on my toes. Thank you again for this motivating email. I appreciate your time and support.
In English class this year, I have experienced new, interesting and useful skills and numerous other things. English 101 was a good class to take first quarter of this year because I gained more skills in writing for other classes that I will be taking. I improved my writing skills as well as my ability to annotate lengthy and challenging pieces of text. This English class helped me gained a better understanding of how I was able to improve skills on citing sources. During this class I got to learn about the types of writing, the writing process, the structures of an argument, audience, Literacy Narratives, Memoirs, and rhetorical situation. I truly appreciate the growth that I have gone through in this class.
During this semester I have learned a lot of qualities to help me in my future career. It has also been one of my challenging semester, having six classes of my final semester has been stressful. This English class one of my favorite class because it was not the “typical” class or English class. This class did not have the prototypical test or papers that most classes have. Instead it has been a hands on class that focuses on the things you need to be successful in order to find a career and be successful in finding that career.
My contribution to this class, English 101, in my opinion is a lot. I always try my best when in the classroom and out of the classroom. While I'm in class if I'm every asked a question I always answer it to the best of my ability. Also, if I'm in class and a question is openly asked I always try to answer it. I don’t answer all the questions because I necessarily want to, I answer them because most of the other students in the class don’t. I am really proud of myself when it comes to this class. I always work hard and do my best. English by far is not my best subject but, I try my best and that’s why I believe I've done good. I turn in all of the work on time, I always read the chapters from They Say/ I Say and do well on my reading quizzes. Also, on my first paper "The Conjuring Movie Trailer" (Gladden) I think I did very good on. I feel that my thesis statement was well thought out and developed (Gladden 1). I learned so far, this semester a strong understand of rhetorical appeals and how to apply them to essays. Also, I have never missed an English class and I think this plays a huge role in my success in English 101 thus far. Coming to class everyday I'm supposed to helped me get everything turned in on time and it also helped make sure I understood everything and if I ever had a question it was answered. Between my peers and professor, I never left the classroom confused or wandering. My success in this class is not just from my hard work but also, the patience and
