Philosophy:
I believe that each student is unique and special and comes to the table with different gifting and talents. As a teacher we are to tear down the walls that often divide the class and help each student see each other in a way that opens doors for communication. As teachers we are charged by God to not only teach his children but to love them the way Jesus loves us. This can be established by hammering away at the character qualities and establishing a good foundation that positive morals and values can be built upon. Education is one part of the bigger picture, which is a better and stronger society. It is important that my students are built for excellence in all they do.
This is accomplished by engaging my students through the curriculum as well as getting to know them and work with them one-on-one. Meeting the needs of my students is the most crucial roll I play in the classroom. At the start of each school year, introduction activities will be vital to the success and flow the remainder of the year. In my classroom students will be comfortable with one another so that there will be meaningful discussions and activities. Talking will be routine in my classroom, along with group work. Students will be set up in a way that group work is going to be an everyday experience and this will help establish that community feel. I want to encourage all students to participate in class so that we can learn from another. The classroom with be self-governing
I believe that the fundamental goal of teaching is to provide a safe environment that allows students to meet their fullest potential in every aspect of their life. My job as an educator is to meet each child’s unique needs in a way that allows them to feel safe and secure to share ideas and take risks when it comes to their own education. I believe that as a teacher I should act as a guide to students’ learning rather than a dictator to it. I also believe that a child’s natural curiosity should direct their learning and impact what they choose to do. The final aspect that I believe is a must have in the classroom is a respect for all people and things. As a role-model for the students, I must show them how
Various philosophies play a role in the education system today. A combination of many philosophies has helped to strengthen educational practices. Society, teachers, students, and families all play an important part in the overall academic growth and social achievements. Schools have a responsibility for educating and preparing students for their future. The success of schools affects society by either producing productive citizens for the community or by contributing to social problems by students not reaching full potential. I believe that the role that schools play in society makes a lasting impression on both the current state of education along with future success in the community. It is also apparent that society can affect schools by imposing beliefs or values. It is in the best interest of both the school and society if they can work as one to build a strong community for learners to grow, develop, and achieve success. The amount of future success in a society is often determined by educational opportunities and achievements. If as a society, education is highly regarded, then it will be a strong motivating factor for achievement and will affect the community as a whole in the end.
Making classroom rules and duties by having discussions with the students. Making them take charge of the classroom activities. This will create a sense of responsibility in them.
Education is not as highly implemented as it is in our modern society. As mentioned before, each tracker has 5 compartments in which people can purchase KCs (Knowledge Chips) but at a rather high price. You can choose to go to school and it serves to get a better job, although, there is a very small guarantee you will move up to a higher class. There is an exam that basically determines your whole future, fail it, and you do not have any chance of taking it again or proving what you’re worth. This exam consists of basic knowledge and how to apply skills to their modern society. An example of what happens in this exam is that is passed, they get brainwashed and gets their family into a higher class with them as well. There is always a catch with everything that is beneficial to their society because they want to keep the number of Golds and high class people to a minimum. School is also mainly focused on teaching the morals of respect and family but also tries to make all enrolled students to be happy in what social class they are in. Once in a high class or a part of the Golds, the former adults and students do not receive any more education because there is no way to go down the social scale. This is the very reason why after education has been part of their lives, they can brainwashed. The society does not permit anyone moving down the scale because that is just an insult to them. If a family proves to be inadequate for their social class, they are publicly eliminated for
I believe that teachers must understand the importance of their job. Teaching is a lifestyle, not just a job. A teacher’s aim is more than to relay information to compliant students. My job is to facilitate growth and learning
Students get into the room, they get chromebooks if we need it.After that, they answer the Do now Activity. Later I present the class topic, objective, Vocabulary and I mention the class activities. I ask for understanding, translation and assign differentiate activities for students that only speak English. I help my students to read the instructions and I give step by step what they have to do, to prevent misunderstanding. I'm always redirect students behavior and reinforce positives outcomes, to motivate them and give credit to their good conduct and work in the class. I'm always walking around the room and students likes that, because they have the chance to talk, make questions, concerns, and have a better relation with me. I'm a very persistent with their class notes and class participation and they know that I will check their work before the end of the lesson. I believe this procedures force students to complete their work, be engage, and at the same time have a good relation with the
Regardless of the factors that determine the nature of students, I feel the purpose of education is to make sure every student has the ability to live up to his or her full potential. I also feel every student should have the chance to learn and excel through education. When I become a teacher, I will make sure each of my students receives the knowledge they need and has the opportunity to grow during the learning process. I never want a student to leave my classroom and say, “I didn’t learn anything today.” I hope for
To begin with, when students walk into the classroom on the first day of school, they should recognize their peers. It is also important to build a classroom community. In addition, teachers need to take the time to get to know their
What I mean by that is we as teachers must look at our students not as our pupils and more like our equals. I believe that as a teacher one of the most important concepts of the job is treating students like actual honest to God human beings. They are not lab rats that we are testing on we need to see students for they are. I live by and will always stand by the “Golden Rule” which I think should be extended to those we teach Treat others as you would want to be treated; that is one of the keys to not just teaching, but to living life in general. Something that fits into this key concept is the idea that as teachers we will learn just as much from our students as much as we will teach them. Again seeing our students as equals not just as people but in the classroom is an ideology that I believe in and fully support. As a teacher I will know that my students are the most important part of the job. As the future of our civilization we as teachers have the ability to help influence them and teach them that each individual is worthy of something
One of the most effective ways to encourage belongingness in the classroom is asking the students at the beginning of the year their opinion on how they feel the classroom should flow. One reason why I believe this is an effective way to promoting belongingness in the classroom is because it gives the students a voice. For example last semester I had professor ask on the first day of class how we would like lectures to be ran. He gave us the choice of taking notes the whole class period, some notes with small group discussions, or large groups discussions. Not only did we feel as if we had a voice and a say so in things it also was a good way to start a positive relationship with him a professors. Positive relationships really can make a classroom run smoothly with both the peers and the teachers. One way to promote positive relationships amongst peer in the classroom is allowing students to work together on assignments. Students are getting to know each other more and students can learn to value one another’s opinion.
This is where I set up a positive classroom atmosphere allowing the students to feel comfortable learning and communicating with everyone. I will find a way to engage every student to each lesson taught. Educators need to know how to motivate their students. The class has a diverse group of students and I will be flexible to accommodate their unique characteristics. Discipline also helps the dynamics in the classroom. Having a good discipline program will make the students feel comfortable to express themselves when there are rules and consequences. When a student breaks a rule, it is important for me to follow through with the predetermined consequence. All the students will feel free to participate in discussions when they feel comfortable to voice their
We know that you expect us to protect them from bullies, and bad words and bad thoughts and bad self-esteem, and we do our best. […] We do know how you love them. We love them. But we don't know how to promise their safety in the face of such random rage. We will build barricades, and we will take precautions, but the rest is unbearable. We cannot bear the unbearable, either.”
America is often described and viewed as the land of opportunity and one of the greatest countries in the world because of the many freedoms and rights that we have. This country is a strong, proud country because it has proved itself time and time again. Its reputation is incredible because of everything it has accomplished. One of its many accomplishments is the right to an education. Education is the very foundation of a functional society and should be treated with high importance, priority, and respect. With that being said, education needs to be the best it can be. Our country seems to have placed many aspects of society higher than education on the list of priorities resulting in a slow failing education system that has its negative effects on everyone, and will carry its negative effects into each new generation of society until education becomes a top priority. Many often blame our teachers for the reason for our failing education system, resulting in "teacher bashing," but the actual problem stems from this country 's government.
Education plays a big role in society. It is a factor that determines the future of many people. Education is a worldwide phenomenon that is widely different across the globe. The goal One Nation, is to have a combination of the world into one school system. I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to our benefactor Mr. Larry Ellison for making all of this possible. Thanks to him, the world shall be united.
The institute of education in a society is how schools affect the students’ outcomes and where they end up in life. The definition of education typically varies, but is considered the socialization of the younger generation. Education in our society is viewed as a vital aspect to the American lifestyle. Children’s first encounters with a group of individuals within their age range is in school. Typically, many start with Kindergarten at age five and progress every year until grade 12. The purpose of education is to teach a young child certain things in order for them to survive and thrive in their adult life. School socially integrates a diverse group of students into one classroom and teaches them to interact and help each other in their
