Introduction
According to Spiro (2010), a code of ethics is a collection of principles and practices that a business believes in and aims to live by and it does not usually stand-alone but in conjunction with a company’s mission statement. This helps employees and other stakeholders on the necessary things they stand for and how they must conduct themselves. DIL Company delights itself by conducting its businesses in agreement with the uppermost moral values and with conformity with laws and other legal demands in the areas of operations. The company’s Executives and Board of Directors and I are dedicated to the work and abide by the policies and code of conduct which we consider is the concrete foundation to push our business to new heights of being a partner of choice.
We urge all employees, suppliers, clients, and stakeholders of the company to completely conform and abide by rules strictly with the code of conduct and that any nonconformity would not be accepted. On the other hand, leaders of higher authority are reminded of their additional duties by setting and leading by model by inculcating this code of conduct in their daily routine activities with clients, employees, government and stakeholders. In spite of, all workers are also reminded to do their work in agreement and with soaring ethical values with admiration and sincerity.

A code of ethics is important because it provides individuals within a group, organization, club or society with a set of rules, standards and guidelines to operate within. When employees don't have a code of ethics, they could engage in less-than-socially acceptable behavior. This can establish a bad reputation for an organization.

To gain a better understanding of this topic, I have read the codes of conduct of two global leaders, Google and Coca-Cola, and I will provide my observations and reflections on their codes.

Codes of conduct are policies including rules such as maintaining honesty, attitude, and respect (Traveler, 2009) for co-workers, the organization and customers. Only by separation of personal ethical choices in the work place, will an organization succeed and flourish. It is never appropriate for any employee, management or otherwise, to conduct business for personal gain. The people who become harmed lose trust, confidence, and the expectation of themselves and of the people who chose to put their personal ethical choice before the needs of the customer and business.
