A practical truth here could be that I’m sure these servants had many doubts when filling vases up with water and especially bringing them out to serve, but they had faith in Jesus. Jesus is speaking to the Jews about making the House of God into a house of trade. Does this conversation reveal something about the person (humanity/deity) of Jesus? I believe this also reveals who Jesus is by calling the temple his fathers house and raising a new temple on the third day. What is the result of the conversation? The result of this conversation is the remembrance of the disciples of this moment after the crocfixion of Jesus. A great practical truth to take away from these verses is that Jesus' words will always come to pass. We see the disciples realize this as they think back on the event. John 3:3-21 Who is Jesus talking to? Jesus is talking to Nicodemus What is the subject of the conversation? Jesus talks to Nicodemus about being born again and God’s love for the world.

Jesus helps Nicodemus by answering his questions and helping him to understand the spiritual truth of his words. One practical truth that can always be applied in John chapter is a reminder of how much God really loves each one of us. John 4:1-26 Who is Jesus talking to? What is the result of the conversation? The woman left believing in Christ telling all what he had said and done for her. I believe these verses are a good reminder that the life, or water Christ provides is better and will satisfy our souls more than anything else in this life. John 4:27-38 Who is Jesus talking to? Jesus is speaking to his disciples What is the subject of the conversation? The conversation is about physical food and a different kind of food Jesus talks about which is the will of God.

What is the result of the conversation? It does not specify the result of this specific conversation but this must have been a critical teaching point for the disciples about why Jesus is on earth. We can apply this truth of purpose that Jesus had to our own lives, we too are called to the fields of souls that are white for harvest. John 4:46-54 Who is Jesus talking to? What is the result of the conversation? The man leaves after speaking with Jesus and upon return his servants tell him he is well and recovering. To believe in Jesusno matter what, that man could have easily left not believing because what Jesus said was basically impossible for the human mind. John 5:1-17 Who is Jesus talking to? Jesus is talking to a paralyzed man of 38 years. What is the subject of the conversation? Jesus is asking if the man wants to be healed.
