Summary for Genesis 1 Genesis chapter 1 explains how God created the world in 6 days. Verses 1-2 describe the world before God started His creative work. Summary for Genesis 2 In Chapter two Adam and Eve are put into the garden of Eden and are told not to eat the fruit of knowledge of good and evil, and Adam names all the animals. Summary for Genesis 3 Chapter 3 is the fall of man. Eve is tempted to eat the fruit and sin enters the world. Because of their sin they are cursed. Summary for Genesis 4 Chapter four is the story of Cain and Abel. Abel offered a more excellent sacrifice and Cain did not. God excepted Abel’s sacrifice and because of this Cain kills his brother. 3
