Article 1: Keywords: Autism Spectrum Disorder The first article I searched for was to fulfill the ASD specialization requirement. When searching the Summon database, I filtered the results by selecting the “peer reviewed” filter with a 5-year publication date maximum. The keywords “Autism Spectrum Disorder”

2 generated 45,164 results. Of these results, I found an ASD clinical trial article about cognitive behavioral treatments for anxiety in children with ASD. Article 2: Keywords: Classroom Reinforcement The second article I searched for was to fulfill the ABA in education requirement. I decided to use an ABA term (reinforcement) paired with the word “classroom” to filter the ABA in education results. This search yielded 7,540 results. Of these, I selected a clinical trial article about classroom based intensive toilet training for children with ASD. Article 3: Keywords: Performance Management The third article I searched for was to fulfill the Organizational Behavior Management requirement. I decided to focus on OBM in the office firm setting. These settings are driven by employee performance, managed by CEOs. This led me to search for “performance management”. These terms generated 999,000 results. Of these, I selected a study that tested a model linking chief CEO performance management behaviors to firm financial performance. Summary How do the authors state the research question in each article? Summarize each article. What is the importance these studies bring to their specialization area and the field of behavior analysis? • Each summary should be one paragraph consisting of 3–5 sentences. Article 1: In this article, the author states the primary objective of the clinical trial was study and compare two cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) programs and their treatment as usual (TAU) to determine the results (of treatment) for impeding anxiety in children (aged 7-13 years) with Autism Spectrum Disorder (Wood et al., 2020). The secondary objectives were to evaluate treatment outcomes on positive response, ASD symptom severity, and anxiety-associated adaptive functioning. This study is important in evaluating the efficacy of psychological therapies used to treat children with ASD affected by anxiety that interferes with adaptive

3 functioning. This study found that CBT was more effective for children with ASD and maladaptive anxiety than TAU. The trial suggests clinicians providing psychological treatments to children with ASD contemplate acquiring CBT expertise (Wood et al., 2020). Article 2: The author states the objective of this trial was to study the effectiveness of classroom based intensive toilet training and self-initiation for elementary children with ASD. The study consisted of four students with ASD in the classroom where they received special education services. The training included an increase in fluid access, contingent time intervals for seated schedules, programmed reinforcement, and dry checks. The study resulted in successful independent toileting for all four participants after the study’s completion. Three of the four participants began self-initiating to use the restroom (Cagliani et al., 2021). Article 3: The author states the objective of this evaluate chief CEO performance management behaviors in relation to firm performance via two mediating mechanisms. The first method collected direct reports of 175 CEOs of small firms located throughout the United States via surveys. The second method collected data via a mail survey administered to the CEOs at the end of the calendar year. The study found a positive relationship between CEO performance and TMT thriving. It highlighted the importance of CEO managerially focused behaviors such as creating structure, giving support, and providing coaching to create more optimally functioning environments for the firm (Christensen-Salem et al., 2022). Implications and Social Significance Discuss the implications of each article. State the social significance of the research. Article 1: This study suggests that cognitive-behavioral therapy appears to be a frontline treatment for verbal children with ASD and maladaptive anxiety.
