The Howard’s Creek watershed is a composite basin consisting of soil group A, B and C soils. The land use areas within each hydrologic soil group are tabulated below. Assuming an average antecedent runoff condition (ARC I) and fair ground cover 1.(25 points) Calculate the depth of direct runoff from a 9- inch storm event using the NRCS method. 2.(25 points) Using the NRCS Method and the storm hyetograph provided, compute and plot the excess rainfall hyetograph. 3.(25 points) Compute and plot the NRCS Synthetic Unit Hydrograph for Howard Creek for 1 hour of excess precipitation. 4.(25 points) Given the 1-Hour Unit Hydrograph and the ERH created in part 2. Compute and plot the storm hydrograph. Assume a base flow of 130 cfs.
