invoked by Thomson in his Spring, was George, Lord Lyttelton, of Hagley, Worcestershire, who procured from the Prince of Wales a pension of £100 a year for the poet. Lucinda was Lucy Fortescue, daughter of Hugh Fortescue, of Devonshire.   1
