Like somewheres, nowheres, anyways, and a number of similarly compounded adverbs that occur both with and without a final -s, someways is Substandard, even in the regional dialects where it usually occurs: Someways, I’d like to help him. Someway, I’d like to help him is Standard in speech, but it isn’t often found in print; I’d like to help him in some way [or somehow] would be more appropriate.  1
