The adjective Hispanic means Spanish, Portuguese or referring to anything or anyone Hispanic: All Hispanic languages from both hemispheres belong to the Romance language group. The nouns apply specifically to Spanish-speaking people of Latin-American origins who now live in the United States. The terms seem to be acceptable to all.
