equivalent (adj., n.)
 
 
The adjective can combine with the prepositions to, as in The payment is equivalent to a week’s wages, and less frequently with with, as in It’s equivalent with the one we got a year ago. The noun can combine with of, to, and for, as in His award was intended to be an equivalent of [to, for] hers.  1
