SPELLING OF WORDS CONTAINING -EI- OR -IE-
 
 
These are spelled with -ei-: conceit, conceive, deceive, either, forfeit, height, leisure, neighbor, receipt, receive, seize, seizure, sleigh, sleight, their, veil, weight, weir, weird. And these are spelled with -ie-: field, grief, shield, shriek, siege, wield. There are many more examples.  1
