hit list, hit man (nn.)
 
 
These compounds have until fairly recently been underworld argot but both now are Conversational and Informal: a hit list is a list of people or organizations to be wiped out or at least opposed and injured or, by extension, a list of proposed sources to be approached in fund raising. A hit man is a person hired to murder someone.  1
