Bible, bible (nn.), biblical (adj.)
 
 
Capitalize Bible as the name of the Christian sacred book, as a name for the Jewish Old Testament, or for any other sacred book, such as the Koran, the Muslim Bible. Lowercase the word when it refers to an official book of some sort, such as in The Infantry Drill Manual is the infantryman’s bible. The adjective biblical is never capitalized except as the first word in a sentence.  1
