partake (v.)
is intransitive and combines with in and of. It is rather stiff and old-fashioned, particularly when it deals with food and drink rather than general behavior, but it is Standard nonetheless: My sprained ankle meant that I could not partake of [in] any of the outdoor activities. We partook liberally in [of] a huge buffet luncheon.
