piece, peace (nn.)

are homophones. Piece is a high-frequency term meaning “a part or section of something”; it has many senses, including some taboo ones. Peace means “freedom from war, strife, noise, or disruption”; it too is a high-frequency word, with a number of specialized senses. There is no overlapping of meaning between the two.  1
