affinity (n.)
 
 
combines with for, with, between, among, to, and some other prepositions. Its meanings range from “blood relationships” to “tendencies” and “cravings”: There is a close affinity among Queen Victoria’s many grandchildren. I have an affinity for almost anything Norwegian. Baseball has affinities with hot dogs and peanuts.  1
