antiseptic (adj., n.), aseptic (adj.)
 
 
The adjectives are partly synonymous, but something that is antiseptic kills bacteria, while something aseptic is “surgically clean or sterile.” Antiseptic has the primary stress on the third syllable; aseptic has it on the second, with the first syllable rhyming with day.  1
