brunch (n., v.)

Brunch is a blend of breakfast and lunch, and although some dictionaries still label it Colloquial or Informal, the noun at least is clearly Standard, meaning “a substantial late-morning or early-afternoon meal, often served buffet style, combining foods that might be found at either breakfast or lunch, often with wine and other alcoholic drinks.”  1
