(gl môr´gn) (KEY) or Glamorganshire (–sh r´´, –shr) (KEY) , former county, S Wales. In 1974, Glamorgan was divided among the nonmetropolitan counties of West Glamorgan, Mid Glamorgan, and South Glamorgan; these were abolished in a further reorganization in 1996. |
