(g´shr) (KEY)  or Geshuri (gsh´yr, gshy´r) (KEY) , in the Bible. 1 Small Aramaic kingdom that remained in the territory allotted to Manasseh. It occupied barren land NE of the Sea of Galilee. After the division of Israel, it became a part of the Aramaic kingdom of Damascus. A daughter of one of its kings married David and was the mother of Absalom.
