(fr ´z rb r ) (KEY) , town (1991 pop. 12,478), Aberdeenshire, NE Scotland, on the North Sea. It is one of Scotlands leading fishing ports. Herring and whitefish are caught. It was founded in 1570 by Sir Alexander Fraser, and the remains of his castle are at Kinnairds Head below a lighthouse. |
