(oust´rôt) (KEY) , castle at the mouth of the Trondheimsfjord, central Norway. It was built (1611–74) by Ove Bjelke, chancellor of the kingdom. It is the setting of Henrik Ibsen’s historic play Lady Inger of Ostrat.
