Aldridge-Brownhills
 
 
(ôl´drj-broun´hlz) (KEY) , town (1981 pop. 87,220), Walsall metropolitan district, central England. It was created in 1966 through the merger of two former districts. Aldridge-Brownhills is residential and has extensive areas of open countryside. Chasewater Pleasure Park has the largest area of open water in the Midlands. The town includes the village of Rushall, the site of a battle in 1643 during the English civil war. Industries include engineering and plastics.
