NOUN:1. A hollow device for shaping a fluid or plastic substance: cast, form, matrix. See SURFACE. 2. A class that is defined by the common attribute or attributes possessed by all its members: breed, cast, description, feather, ilk, kind2, lot, manner, nature, order, sort, species, stamp, stripe, type, variety. Informal : persuasion. See GROUP.
VERB:1. To give form to by or as if by pressing and kneading: form, model, shape. See SURFACE. 2. To create by forming, combining, or altering materials: assemble, build, construct, fabricate, fashion, forge1, frame, make, manufacture, produce, put together, shape. See MAKE.
