VERB:1. To direct or impel to oneself by some quality or action: appeal, attract, draw, entice, lure, magnetize, take. Informal : pull. See LIKE. 2. To beguile or draw into a wrong or foolish course of action: entice, inveigle, lure, seduce, tempt. Idioms: lead astray. See PERSUASION.
