Broad River
 
PRONUNCIATION:  brôd
A river rising on the eastern slope of the Blue Ridge in western North Carolina and flowing about 241 km (150 mi) southeast then south to Columbia, South Carolina, where it joins the Saluda River to form the Congaree.
